Apology
In this case an apology means a defence or explanation of why I made this site, and not me saying sorry or that I did anything wrong.
I believe everyone needs and should have a complete and honest sex education. And I believe what schools provide, if they provide anything, is probably not complete enough. I believe parents should be the primary teachers of sex education, but I think most people, especially late teens and most adults, probably need more. Also schools and other sex education resources may not teach right and wrong to do with sex, or teach very little of it. Either way, it doesn't hurt to have an additional resource. Honestly, I think adolescents and adults should be educated about sex until they know as much as possible and are sick of it. Sex is very important and has a lot of pitfalls, education and safety are very important to do with it!
I believe that learning about sex through dirty talk or dirty jokes, movies and TV, or pornography gives you a very bad, usually wrong and incomplete understanding of sex.
I did a Web search for "sex" on Google. If I recall correctly when I did it, 80% of the results were for hardcore pornography. Why shouldn't it be the other way around, with 80% of the results for sex education websites? Sex education websites should outnumber pornography websites, not the other way around.
Also, I went through a horrid time to do with sex and I would like to spare others, including young people, the pain and difficulties I had. Plus I just have always wanted to help people, especially young people.
Have you ever heard of people writing the book they wanted to read, or wish they could have read when they were younger? I think C. S. Lewis and Daniel Handler said something like that. That may be why I made this website.
I have done a lot of thinking about sex and what I think is good and right to do with it, and my values to do with it, so it makes sense for me to write it down somewhere and to see if I can help others with it if I can.
And I hope my website is good and not crappy, but even a crappy website about sex is thousands of times better than those pornography "tube" sites, which a lot of children, adolescents and adults are looking at. This website is public in the hopes that someone, especially a young person, will find it instead of Pornhub.
