Abstinence
Abstinence (pronounced AB-sti-nens) is when you have no sexual activity with another person. Abstinence is a 100% effective contraception and STI prevention, in fact it is the only 100% guaranteed effective contraception and STI prevention. It is recommended for teenagers. (Children of course absolutely not have sex, that's sexual abuse.) Being abstinent or doing abstinence is called practicing abstinence.
It might get you mocked and belittled, but it is an honourable course of life. Though I do hope most people can get married and have fulfilling sexual activity and sex lives?. (See you should have sex (when you're an adult).
Masturbation is allowed under abstinence.
