PubicLice

Pubic lice or crabs is an infestation of the crab louse (or pubic louse) in the pubic hair. It is considered an STI because it usually spreads through sexual activity (although clothing and bedding can play a role). It's called crabs or a crab louse because it looks vaguely like a tiny crab. The crab louse is not the same as lice that you can get on your head. The crab louse can also infect other stiff body hair.

Wikipedia says about 0.3% to 4.6% of people have pubic lice. The Mayo Clinic says that over-the-counter lotions or shampoos that have 1% permethrin (Nix) or pyrethrin can kill your pubic lice, but if that doesn't work then you need to see a doctor.
