This is my Letter to Parents of children and adolescents who may have visited this sex education website, or who may visit it in the future.
Dear Parents,
I am not a parent and have no children, but if I did I would want to teach children their sex education and my values to do with sex myself. I can understand being angry or at least surprised and confused that I, a stranger, has set up a website to tell children and adolescents (but also adults) all about sex and puberty. I can explain more of why I made this website in my apology page.
This website is conservative, and there are no explicit pictures (unlike Wikipedia) and I try to keep the descriptions and facts tame or even wholesome. I sometimes warn children or adolescents that an article is for older teens, though I think maybe I should do age or maturity ratings a lot more.
This website does teach my values though. This include:
- Masturbation is probably not a serious wrong
- Being homosexual is not wrong, but sex between people of the same sex probably is
- Pornography is wrong and bad for you and is terrible sex education
- Rape and sexual abuse are some of the worst things you can do
- And that consent is a good thing
- Gender ideology is false and men aren't women
- Teenagers shouldn't be having sex (and children having sex is sexual abuse)
- Having sex outside of marriage is wrong or at least not ideal
- Preserving your virginity (and even your vaginal corona) until marriage is a good thing
Either way, I fully encourage you to read all of the website that your child or adolescent has been reading, or that you might let him or her read. Or read the whole website, too. Maybe you'll learn something to, I know I did while researching this website.
You may notice that I comment negatively and advise against pornography several times. First of all I do this because pornography is bad and wrong, and because pornography is very popular on the internet and very attractive to children and teenagers. But I also mention it because if a person (child, adolescent or adult) found my website, they probably found it while surfing the internet unsupervised. And if someone found my website, they can also find pornography, so they need to be warned not to look at it and helped if they already have.
There is currently no way to contact me or to send feedback to me on this website, but there probably should be.
